A Charleston native, Dr. Ellis is deeply connected to the vibrant history and traditions of her Gullah Geechee heritage. With over 14 years of research and clinical experience, she specializes in functional medicine, herbal medicine, and holistic health, blending evidence-based practice with cultural knowledge to support each patient's unique health journey.

Her work is driven by a passion for making integrative medicine accessible and affordable for all, especially for communities historically underserved by healthcare. She is particularly dedicated to helping descendants of African and Indigenous peoples reclaim wellness by integrating traditional approaches with modern medicine.

Dr. LaShana J. Wilder is a dedicated healthcare professional, wellness advocate, and proud mother. With more than 19 years of clinical experience, she brings a compassionate and innovative approach to patient care, specializing in integrative solutions that empower individuals to take charge of their health.

A Charleston native deeply connected to Gullah Geechee culture, she combines modern medicine with ancestral healing practices to serve underserved communities. Her 2021 publication, Health Care Disparities: Increasing the Divide, examines inequity in healthcare, and her latest book, Wholeness Awaits, extends that mission through the Urban Masterclass Network.

Dr. Viswanathan, our Medical Director, is a dual board certified integrative internist licensed in South Carolina, Maryland, and California, and a Medicare/Medicaid provider trained in hospital-based, house-call, and office-based clinical care. He specializes in enteroimmunology and endocrinology.

The son of parents who immigrated to the USA from India, he was raised in India and the United States and completed his undergraduate studies at UC Irvine.
